Sand dune rejuvenation and natural dune dynamics

Sand dunes offer an untapped learning resource for both learners and educators alike. To raise awareness of rare and vulnerable sand dune habitats and wildlife, the Dynamic Dunescapes Project has developed resources for educators. 

This resource supports students to understand current threats to sand dunes and explore how interventions can support the conservation of sand dune ecosystems.   

Download this resource, which includes guidance for a sequence of activities to support learners to understand the need to work with natural processes and to manage these processes alongside directly managing habitats or species.
