Coral Reef Ecosystems
Using the Menjangan Island Reef in Bali, Indonesia as a case study, students follow activities to answer the following questions:
- What is a coral reef ecosystem like? How is this environment being used, impacted and managed?
- What does the life of a field researcher involve? What methods were used to collect data for this study? Why were these methods chosen?
- Which graph presentation methods are most suited to the data collected. How do we analyse graphs and the results collected. What conclusions have been drawn?
- How will Phillips research influence future research and the management of the Menjangan coral reef ecosystem?
