Dam building
This hands-on play-based outdoor STEM challenge invites learners to experiment with controlling the flow of water using natural materials such as mud, sticks and stones. By constructing and testing their own mini dams, pupils explore concepts of forces, flow and stability while discovering how real beavers shape their environments. The activity encourages teamwork, problem-solving and curiosity about nature and engineering.
