Weather forecasting

This Philosophy for Children (P4C) activity uses creative stimuli, including films and an infographic, to prompt discussion about how technology and innovation shape weather forecasting. Learners explore ideas such as future weather forecasts, the role of supercomputers and artificial intelligence, and how people feel about new technologies. Through open-ended questions and shared enquiry, the activity encourages critical thinking, curiosity and reflection on whether technological advances always improve our lives.
