Past climate teaching resources
These teaching resources support learners in exploring how Earth’s climate has changed over the past 2.6 million years, from ice ages to the Anthropocene. Through a series of themed modules, students investigate key drivers of climate change such as orbital cycles, volcanic activity, solar variation and greenhouse gases. The materials are designed to be flexible and can be adapted to suit different ages, abilities and curriculum contexts.
