The vanishing frog
This activity introduces learners to the global amphibian extinction crisis and explores why amphibians are among the most threatened groups of animals on Earth. Students investigate the major threats facing amphibians, including habitat loss, climate change and disease, and debate critical questions about human responsibility and conservation priorities.
Through discussion, research and action planning, learners identify strategies to protect amphibians and develop a realistic plan for making a positive impact within their own communities.
