Fairy gardens
This imaginative, play-based activity invites children to create miniature fairy gardens using natural materials found outdoors. As they build small worlds with moss, pebbles, sticks and soil, learners explore size, scale and texture while developing language through storytelling and sensory play. The activity encourages creativity, early maths skills and a deep connection with nature through open-ended exploration.
