Potions and pies
This playful outdoor literacy activity invites learners to get creative while practising instructional writing. Using simple ingredients found outdoors, they follow and write their own recipes for mud pies and magic potions, experimenting with imperative verbs and clear sequencing. As they mix, sieve and decorate their creations, pupils develop both language and teamwork skills through hands-on learning in nature.
